Rev. Being the first to pioneer and start a professional Christian Music training facility in Ghana, it is understandable why most worship and music ministers regard and relate to him as their mentor, father and role model. From the inception of the school in 1987 to date he has trained more worship ministers and musicians than any other, numbering some 7,000 and over. This robust and proactive stance to training has been achieved through strategic innovations in the training programs where consistent mini-workshops and seminars are used to augment the courses run by the regular school. Being a man who is a radical believer in knowledge acquisition he is currently working on a scheme that will see Ghana have at least one professional Christian music training and resource centre in every region.

With all these it is easy to see why music ministers all over the country have something to do with Tom Bright-Davies. All it takes is to sit under his ministry for a short while and then you would understand.

When people describe a 4 hour long non-stop worship concert as “electrifying” and “too short” you begin to get positively curious. In one of Ghana’s major worship events (the 24 hour non-stop Praise and worship) a leading minister made a remark after Tom had ministered in worship and taught God’s word. He said “the man’s depth of revelation, understanding and exposition in the area of worship and music is God sent and a blessing to the body of Christ which we must all take advantage of and also protect and treasure”.
