Creative Worship Conferences

Worship is what binds you and God together in an intimate relationship. The reason why God made you was to worship Him. Worship is the reason you have life and the essence of who He is. We worship Him not so much for what He does but for who He is. His personality is what makes Him more than worthy to be worshiped.

Jesus told the woman at the well in John chapter 4 that the she and her folks did not know who they worshiped. They were worshiping alright but their knowledge of the person they claimed to worship was non-existent. In contrast Jesus said He and His people knew who they worshiped.

Psalm 100 verse 3 makes a strong and similar statement. “KNOW that the Lord, the same He is God” Paul also said “that I may know Him….” In Genesis 22 verse 12 the angel of the Lord brought God’s prophetic announcement to Abraham saying ‘…now I know that you fear God….”

What is the meaning of “KNOW” and how does it relate to worship?

This KNOW the scriptures speak of is not the mental accent type of knowledge but rather an experiential type based on an intimate relationship and fellowship. God is on the look-out for true worshipers. His heart yearns for those who want a real relationship with Him on a daily basis. He is not just looking for a Sunday to Sunday music jam void of your everyday decisions and expressions. He wants your heart, all of it or none of it. 

Our songs and good music which is extremely important anyway, must be birthed from the relationship and fellowship we have with Him every moment of our lives. They become a spontaneous response, an expression of our very lives put in musical form (sound) and physical form (gestures and dance).

In our songs we give verbal character or voice to what we are and who we are in relation to who God is to us and this becomes our testimony in the earth, the heavens and in Satan’s domain. They overcame him by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB and by the WORD of their TESTIMONY.

The depth of your relationship with God will always determine how you see Him, hear Him, understand Him, love Him testify about Him in your songs. Remember that our testimony in worship is three dimensional. In worship we testify to the heavens, we testify to the whole earth and most importantly we testify to hell and its hosts that nobody else but OUR GOD REIGNS.

In these conferences worship is the focus and not our musical gifts. Rather we learn how to give backto God the gifts of music He has given to us by bringing people into His PRESENCE WHERE THERE IS FULLNESS OF JOY.
